Intended Use
The ROTA-C.difficile-CRYPTO-E.coli-CPE Ag Combo Test is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of porcine Rotavirus, porcine Clostridium difficile (GDH), porcine Cryptosporidium, porcine E.coli, and Clostridium perfringens in swine’s feces specimen. Swine infected with these pathogens often exhibit similar symptoms, including diarrhea or vomit.
Principle
The ROTA-C.difficile-CRYPTO-E.coli-CPE Ag Combo Test uses rapid immunochromatographic technology to detect ROTA, C.difficile, CRYPTO, E.coli and CPE antigens. After adding the diluted sample to the sample well of the test card, if the ROTA, C.difficile, CRYPTO, E.coli or CPE antigens are present in the specimen, the antigen will specifically bind to the colloidal gold-labeled anti-ROTA, C.difficile, CRYPTO, E.coli or CPE monoclonal antibody. The formed complex moves along the chromatographic membrane and is captured by the corresponding monoclonal antibody pre-coated on the chromatographic membrane, forming a red detection line at the position of the test line. If there is no ROTA, C.difficile, CRYPTO, E.coli or CPE antigen in the sample, no visible lines will be formed at the T position. The C line should always appear after the sample is applied, which indicates the test is performing properly. The test can accurately indicate the presence of ROTA, C.difficile, CRYPTO, E.coli or CPE antigen in the sample.
