Intended Use
The CAEV Ab Test is a sandwich lateral flow immunochromatographic method for the qualitative detection of Caprine Arthritis-encephalitis Virus Antibody (CAEV Ab) in caprine serum, plasma specimen.
Principle
The CAEV Ab Test is based on rapid immunochromatographic assay. When the treated sample was applied into the sample well on the test card, the liquid will laterally flow through the surface of the test strip and react with the colloidal gold-labelled antigen.The mixture then migrates upward on the membrane chromatographically by capillary action and reacts with the pre-coated Caprine Arthritis-encephalitis recombinant antigens. If the Caprine Arthritis-encephalitis Virus Antibodies are present in the specimen, a visible T line will appear. The C line should always appear after a sample is applied, which indicates the test is performing properly. By this means, the test card can accurately indicate the presence of Caprine Arthritis-encephalitis Virus antibodies in the specimen.
